Six of Cups, is Tipheret in Briah. Just like in the other sixes, the energy of Tipheret brings balance and beauty to this card. Tipheret, being a reflection of Keter shines a light on a situation and puts things in a lighter perspective. Furthermore, the Sun, this ultimate planet of reason, is quite comfortable in Scorpio – a sign of passion and sensuality. And so we have the Six of Cups – PLEASURE.
SYMBOLISM
In the Six of Cups is the Goddess Psyche sitting by the water stream (Scorpio). Her nostalgic expression implies she is reminiscing of something. The Sun is shining, the cups are in tact and Cupid flies above her head.
The pleasure is certainly there. Yet we have no assurance that it will grow.
